PROJECTSI occasionally do personal projects on my own or with friends, so I decided that it would be nice to put some of them on here. On the right I put pictures that you are most likely distracting you form reading this. I will try and write a steps of each probably, (or sometimes just a summery of the project when I'm too lazy to break it down, or I don't remember) So I hope this entertains you somehow, or maybe even teaches you something. I don't know. So, ya. Enjoy. |

MEASER
This was actually my STEM enternce project. What it was, was a robot that Emilie Baxter, Amritha and Ananya Somasekar, and myself built from wooden scraps my father had lying around his shop and some robotic parts from a LEGO Minestorm set. Robotic pieces used for Measers main functions include: a touch sensor, ultrasonic sensor , sound sensor, and color sensor. We also used the main control panel and motors for the wheels . Measer has been programed by us to do several different tasks including two spoken sentences, displaying several different massages, on the main screen, and a dance. This took us a total of eleven and a half hours over three day's time, (as well as planning time for the blueprints which took up several lunch brakes to plan out. Then about four and a half hours to put together the video) . It was one of the funnest projects that I have had the pleasure to have worked on, and I hope to do another like this one soon.

Thats actually where I was actually useful to my dad. My dad's friend Rory Earnshaw, who is a professional photographer, shot a few pans and pictures. We uploaded those files to my computer and I began editing with only adjectives to specifically describe how they wanted the comercial to look. Elegant, magical, buetiful. No screenplay, no nothing, just "magical". So, that is why there are about three shots in that video.
The begining shot or two are a bit jumpy, but, who cares, I can fix that later I suppose, maybe. (I'm not going to fix that) I told them it wasn't done rendering, but no, it had to be uploaded. One day of editing, ontop of studing, that sounds like a healthy life style. |
